Then the data consists of three main stages: (1)Data reduction, namely filtering and simplifying relevant data; (2)Data presentation, namely organizing data in the form of narratives or graphics to facilitate analysis; (3)Drawing conclusions and verification, namely drawing conclusions based on existing data and verifying findings to ensure their validity. The results of this study will identify the characteristics of traditional Minangkabau wind instruments, trends in contemporary popular music arrangements, and challenges and opportunities in integrating the two. The results of the study show that the use of traditional instruments in popular music arrangements based on Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) allows musicians to combine local elements with modern technology, producing authentic and innovative musical compositions. DAW provides great flexibility in recording, modifying and combining traditional instruments with pop music elements, making it an ideal platform for creating musical works that are rich in cultural value but remain relevant in the digital era.
